Eight people including Awami National Party (ANP) security incharge Obaidullah Yousufzai were killed in Karachi near Airport Police limits on Thursday. According to sources, ANPs Obaidullah Yousufzai and Saleem Akhtar were sitting in a car were sitting in a car outside the PIA Cargo Terminal when unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire on them. Their dead bodies were shifted to Jinnah Hospital. After the incident, violent protesters took to streets and set a bus and 6 vehicles ablaze. Markets and shops were closed down in some areas. ANPs Sindh President Shahi Syed has announced three-day mourning.
