The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to constitute committees on union council level to assess the damage caused by the flash floods. 92 union councils of Peshawar will be represented by three committees. A large gathering in this regard was held at district council hall Peshawar.A proper survey will be initiated from August 21 and the data will be submitted to PDMA. The survey in 92 union councils of Peshawar will be completed within the next two weeks. The affectees will be handed over smart cards from September 1. During the initial stage the smart card holders would be given Rs 25,000 in relief.
