Summary Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif has taken the notice of the incident.
NANKANA SAHIB (Dunya News) – Supporters of independent candidate attacked Dunya News team in polling station number 39 in Nankana Sahib today (Saturday).
According to sources, some enraged residents and supporters of independent candidate suddenly stormed Dunya News DSGN in Nankana Sahib and tortured team members during live coverage.
Taking notice of the incident, Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif directed to submit report after investigating the matter.
The polling for local bodies election (first phase) is underway in both Punjab and Sindh that was started at 7:30 am and will be continued until 5:30 pm.
