KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police on Friday have arrested two terrorists, fashioning generic bombs in an operation in Manghopir.
The personnel conducted an operation in Manghopir which resulted in arrests of two militants who were caught building bombs. Terrorists resorted to firing upon raid however, law enforcers reciprocated and apprehended assailants in injured conditions.
The personnel seized explosives, detonators, ball bearings and other weaponry. The police said that apprehended insurgents belong to a banned outfit.

On the other hand in Sohrab Goth, security personnel recovered two bodies.
Police recovered two bodies from Sohrab Goth’s Afghan Basti. The police said that two persons, 35-year-old and 35-year-old were gunned down. However, the bodies of have not been identified yet. Bodies were shifted to a nearby moratorium and investigation has been launched.
Separately in an alleged operation in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, two dacoits were apprehended in injured condition. Police said that the criminals were wanted in several cases of street crimes. The personnel have seized weapons from culprits’ possession.
Earlier on Thursday night, two target killers, implicated in murders of 41 individuals were arrested. The Counter Terrorism Department’s (CTD) police arrested murderers during a raid in New Karachi area. According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) CTD Junaid Sheikh, one of the arrested criminal identified as Shahid Qadri confessed to at least 17 target killings.
According to the details, arrested Qadri committed different crimes along with accomplices named, Ahmed Hussain, Shafiq, Nadeem alias Bacha and a woman.
CTD police also arrested suspect Adil Baloch during a raid in Dalmia. Baloch was involved in the killings of 24 people. SSP Sheikh informed that the taget killer had received training from banned organization, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).
Police officials stated that the arrested target killers were involved in extortion, kidnapping for ransom and various other crimes.
