BOLAN (Dunya News) – The 11 people killed in Bolan explosion on Thursday have been laid to rest, Dunya News reported.
A case has been registered against unidentified persons at Levies Police Station Bhag.
Reportedly, the families of the victims earlier refused to bury the martyrs and staged a protest saying they weren’t given adequate security by the administration.
At least 11 people were killed and over 20 wounded as result of an explosion near an Imam Bargah in Tehsil Bhag of Bolan district.
According to details, the planted bomb was detonated via remote control some time before the start of the Majlis. The police and rescue officials reached the site and cordoned off the area.
The police carried a search operation in the surrounding while the rescue officials rushed those wounded to the hospitals.
According to the hospital sources, 11 were killed in the explosion while another 20 were wounded while the condition of some is still critical.
Condemning the incident, Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) chief Allama Raja Nasir said Balochistan government has become helpless in front of the terrorists and there’s no one to stop the militants in the province.
He said the community is severely concerned about security of mourners on Ashura.
