KARACHI (Web Desk) – At least three people were injured when a speeding car plunged into a nullah in Korangi Industrial area of Karachi on Friday.
Rescue officials arrived at the scene and shifted the injured to hospital.
The ill-fated vehicle was pulled out with the help of a crane.
Road accidents are common across Pakistan due to bad road infrastructure and rampant disregard of traffic laws. Over 9,000 road accidents are reported to the police every year, killing on average around 5,000 people, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
