ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Danial Aziz on Thursday announced that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will take Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) over hydel funds case and a reference in this regard has already been prepared, Dunya News reported.
Aziz said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has also been served a notice of Rs 1.05 billion over allegations against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
According to details, the ruling PML-N has come out in the open against PTI and the provincial government led by it. Addressing a press conference, Aziz said that a reference against the KP government is ready and that PML-N has decided to take the issue to NAB.
“If PTI has any evidence against us then it should send us notices and go to NAB”, he challenged.
The PML-N leader said that the period of Imran Khan’s lies is over, adding that the latter has been served a notice of Rs 1.05 billion over allegations.
He asked Imran Khan to either respond to the notice within 14 days or apologize. He also showed to the media the postal dispatch receipts to the media as evidence that the notice has been dispatched.
Danial Aziz said the electricity shortage could be dealt with by installing new projects in the KP province but the KP government invested the funds in stock market.
“The KP government gambled”, he said, adding that it is mentioned in the audit report that Rs 538 million withdrawn for hydel project were not spent.
He said the KP government changed the investment page on the website on September 17, alleging that Imran Khan hid the issue of gambling by his government while highlighting the Nandipur project issues.
“The party has only just begun”, he said, adding that the ‘real face’ of the ‘selfie group’ will be exposed. He said more ‘facts’ about PTI will be brought in front of the people.
PTI chief had blasted PML-M with allegations saying that PML-N is incapable of doing anything the right way. He alleged PML-N ‘bought’ journalists, imprisoned politicians in Changa Manga and sent a lavish car to a former army chief.
Addressing party workers at Garhi Shahu area in Lahore, PTI chief said that his party contested against the federal and provincial governments in the by-election. He said they are carrying out investigations and that they will ‘unveil facts’ in a week.
Khan said it is being investigated how many votes were transferred outside of the constituency for this election. “We knew Punjab’s Election Commissioner belongs to PML-N and will make them victorious”, he claimed.
“Umpires are with one party because all three judges who did ‘hattrick’ against PML-N have been let go”.
