Summary General Raheel Sharif expressed satisfaction over cooperation in defence sector
ANKARA (Dunya News) – Army Chief General Raheel met with Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutogluand and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday. Turkish leadership appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to fight terrorism, reported Dunya News.

According to Spokesperson Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa, Army Chief General Raheel Sharif met with Turkish President and Prime Minister separately. Both leaders appreciated Pakistan’s resolve and commitment to fight against terrorism in addition to appreciating the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan Army to ward off terrorism.

As per spokesperson ISPR, General Raheel Sharif assured the leadership of Turkey of full support and coordination against security challenges faced by both countries.
General Raheel Sharif also met with Turkish Defence Minister Vecdi Gonul and Chief of General Staff Hulusi Akar in which he discussed furthering of defence cooperation and ties between the two countries. General Raheel Sharif also expressed satisfaction over cooperation in defence sector as well.
