Summary Asma Jahangir said that increased fees aim at providing quality education to the youth
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday has barred district administration from disciplinary action against private schools in increased fees matter.
Counsel for petitioner Asma Jahangir maintained that the ordinance under which action is to be taken against private schools clashes with Article 25. She said that increased fees aim at providing quality education to the youth.
The court, after hearing the case, gave an interim order that barred administration from action against more than 15 petitioners.
The LHC further summoned replies from district administration, secretary schools and Punjab government on November 5.
