ATTOCK (Dunya News) - Polling for by-polls in Punjab Assembly constituency PP-16-Attock has started under tight security arrangements. The seat fell vacant after Punjab home minister Shuja Khanzada was martyred in a suicide bomb attack in Attock on August 16.

At least 131,608 voters may use their right to vote in today’s election. There is one-to-one contest between Shuja Khanzada’s son and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Jahangir Khanzada and independent candidate Dr Naeem Awan.

A total number of 137 polling stations have been established in the constituency for today’s election out of which 36 have been declared sensitive.
