Six gang war suspects killed in police, Rangers encounter in Karachi

Summary According to police two of the gang war operatives belonged to Baba Ladla group.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Atleast two gang war operatives were killed today (Wednesday) in police search operation in Karachi’s Lyari area.

Police on a tip-off conducted a search operation in Lyari’s Jhat Pat market and surrounding areas. The gang war members opened fire on the officials and also attacked them with a hand grenade.

The police retaliated to the attack as a result of which one assailant died on the spot whereas the other succumbed to his injuries later.

According to police both the gang war operatives belonged to Baba Ladla group.

Besides this, four gang war suspects were gunned down in Rangers operation in Lyari. The suspects were involved in various subversive activities including target killing. Officials also recovered automatic weapons from the possession of the gang war members.

On the other hand, one man identified as Asad was killed in firing incident in Liaquatabad area while dead body of a woman was found from Orangi Town and another from Pak Colony.
