Summary Pakistani pilgrims have complained that no official of Hajj Directorate is available to guide them

LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least six Pakistanis are among the 717 martyred pilgrims while another 6 are wounded in tragic stampede at Mina, Dunya News reported.

The Pakistani Hajj Mission has released a phone number 00966125277537 where more information on pilgrims’ whereabouts can be taken. However, when Dunya News tried calling this number, it was unreachable.

The Pakistani pilgrims have complained that no official of Hajj Directorate is available to guide them.

One of the deceased pilgrims, Haji Arif belongs to Lahore’s Green Town area. A large number of neighbours started gathering at their house as soon as the news hit the TV.

The neighbours said that it was Arif’s desire to be blessed enough to die at the sacred land. He is survived by a widow, two sons and one daughter.
