ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Crackdown against fake doctors and clinics in the federal capital continues as another six doctors have been jailed while 11 hospital sealed.
Administration conducted an operation in Rawat area and found bogus doctors treating patients. The clinics that have been sealed in the latest development include Asif medical centre, Zakir Nighat clinic and Abdul Sattar clinic.
Absence of doctors in clinics and operations under fake degrees have led to closure of Ali clinic, Dr Rabia Asad clinic, Rashid dental clinic, new Ali medical clinic, lab one laboratory and Israel medical store.
The officials have fined Seema clinic at least Rs 50,000.
Earlier, as many as 12 hosptials were sealed in the start of the operation. While so-called doctors were found injecting veterinary drugs to locals.
