Summary Media Logic CEO says foreign editor's report vindicated stance, Express obtained fake ratings

LAHORE: (Web Desk, Dunya News) – Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Media Logic Salman Iqbal has on Monday said that the report by foreign editor Robert Rudd has confirmed Media Logic’s stance that Express Group conspired to obtain fake ratings. He said that the channel has been issued notice and legal action will be taken if response not received within the given time, reported Dunya News.

The ratings company owner said in a press conference in Lahore that the foreign auditor obtained 10-month data from all the channels including Express News. The report proved that only Express News and Express Entertainment benefited from the fake ratings.

Salman Danish told that Express Group bribed Media Logic employees to obtain fake ratings. He said that the undertaking wasn’t obtained from ex-employee of Media Logic Shaista Mushtaq. He said that she lied to get the investigations stopped.

Media Logic owner said that Express Group has been issued a notice to respond within 2 weeks after which legal action will be taken. He added that Pakistan Broadcasting Association (PBA) will decide how much the other channels suffered due to this fraud by Express.
