KARACHI (Dunya News) – Unidentified motorcycle-riding men opened fire on Samaa TV Digital Satellite News Gathering (DSNG) vehicle today (Saturday) in Karachi s Liaquatabad No.10 area.
The tyres of the vehicle exploded and window panes shattered due to the attack.
Police state that five to six bullets struck the DSNG however; no life loss has been reported yet as the staff was not present inside the vehicle at the time of attack.
Police and Rangers personnel reached the scene after the incident.
Sindh Information Minister Nisar Ahmed Khoro has condemned the attack and has also summoned report from Additional Inspector General (IG) Karachi.
