Summary Bilawal has been tasked with heading local body elections campaign
DUBAI (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari headed a consultation meeting of party leaders here on Saturday and discussed key subjects including local body elections, Rangers authority and reformation of the party, Dunya News reported.
According to details, party’s chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has been tasked with heading local body elections campaign. The meeting was attended by former prime ministers Yousaf Raza Gillani and Raja Pervez Ashraf, Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah, Faryal Talpur and other party leaders.
The Rangers authority and party’s reformation was discussed in detail while the preparation of the local body elections was also reviewed. It was unanimously agreed that Bilawal would head the local body election campaign.
Bilawal will address campaign rallies in Punjab and Sindh. It was decided in the meeting that as many as ten rallies will be held in Sindh whereas the campaign in Punjab will consist on five rallies.
