Lawyers community in Islamabad observes day of mourning over Badaber attack
On the call of Islamabad Bar Council, lawyers went on a strike.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Lawyers community in Islamabad is observing a day of mourning today (Saturday) over the Badaber attack in Peshawar.
On the call of Islamabad Bar Council, lawyers went on a strike with the High Court Bar and District Bar observing a day of mourning.
As a result of the strike the hearings of many cases have been adjourned.
Lawyers are of the view that operations against militants should continue till their logical conclusion to eliminate the scourge of terrorism.
More than a dozen terrrorists attacked a residential compound in PAF airbase in Badaber area of Peshawar, martyring at least 29 people in their deadliest assault in months following a major military offensive against them.
Soldiers moved rapidly to surround the attackers, confining them to a small area and killing at least 13 of them.
