ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) -- Petroleum Minister Shahid Abbasi said the previous 3 governments have tried to bring LNG for the past 10 years yet the current government has managed to export LNG in just 20 months. He said that those who are leveling allegations should provide facts as well, reported Dunya News.
Petroleum Minister Shahid Abbasi told a press conference that facts must be brought in front of public regarding LNG. He said that government had completed LNG terminal in record time adding that 10 cargo ships of LNG had arrived. He said LNG contract with UAE had not been signed. Upon completion of
Pakistan Petroleum Minister claimed that the price of LNG in Pakistan is cheapest across Asia. He said that the demand for LNG will be 15 million tons within the next three years.
According to the first contract of LNG, there will be savings of two million dollars. He said that those who are leveling allegations should provide facts as well adding that government is ensuring that the country is being provided with cheapest possible LNG.
