Summary Police arrested two extortionists from Ittehad Town

KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least eight militants by Wednesday night have been killed by security forces in different operations while a target killer among three felons were apprehended.

The killed terrorists were involved in target killings and blasts.

In an encounter with Rangers in Lyari, an operative of Aziz Jan gang war group, Abdullah was gunned down. Separately, Rangers conducted a planned operation in Orangi Town’s Qasba Colony. Militants opened fire on the personnel however, a terrorist was killed in exchange fire.

Rangers spokesperson said that the terrorist killed inOrangi Town was not only involved in target killings of Rangers personnel but blasts also.

In another incident, Rangers acted on a tip-off and carried out an operation in New Karachi. As many as two target killers were killed after fire was reciprocated by the personnel. The spokesperson said that the killers were involved in sectarian violence and killings.

Police carried out an operation in Mochuko and gunned out three criminals belonging to Lyari’s gang war group. The bodies were identified as Rashid, Wahid and Nadir. Another banned outfit’s operative was killed by police in Docks area. City Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Fida Hussain said that the criminal had killed a CID official. While, he said that he was also involved in ransom kidnapping and several cases of extortion.
Weapons and grenades were seized from the murderer’s possession.

Separately, police arrested a target killer named Imran alias Kala in an operation in Peerabad. West’s SSP said that the killer is involved in target killings of at least ten people. Police, in another operation arrested two extortionists from Ittehad Town.
