Summary At least 7 terrorists, including target killers, were killed in encounters in Karachi on Wednesday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – According to details, Rangers conducted a targeted operation in Qasba Colony of Orangi Town area on Wednesday upon which terrorists opened fire at the raiding party. Ranger returned the fire as a result one terrorist was killed.
A Rangers spokesman informed that the killed terrorist was involved in target killing of a Rangers official and several bomb blasts in the city.
Two target killers were killed during an exchange of fire during a raid conducted by Rangers in New Karachi area. Rangers sources said that the killed target killers were involved in sectarian target killing in the city.
On the other hand, an exchange of fire took place between police and terrorists in Mochko area during which three members of the Lyari gang war were killed. The dead criminals were identified as Rashid, Wahid and Nadir.
In a separate incident, one member of a banned outfit was killed in encounter with police in Docks area while a target killer, Imran alias Kala, was arrested from Pirabad area.
