KARACHI (Dunya News) – Strike of paramedical staff of Jinnah hospital and National Institute of Child Health (NICH) over health allowance demand has entered third day today (Wednesday).

Patients are undergoing severe problems due to the closure of Outdoor Patient Departments (OPDs) and Operation Theater whereas the families coming from far flung areas to get treatment faced humiliation due to the strike.

More than 9000 patients are left uncured and over 140 operations are still pending due to the ongoing strike.

On the other hand, YDA called off their strike after successful negotiations with the administration.
