FAISALABAD (Dunya News) -- Kiln workers of Faisalabad marched on foot from Faisalabad to Lahore in protest against low wages on Monday. The labourers also gave sit-in in front of Labour Department. Participants of the protest said that if their problems are not solved then they will march to the Chief Minister House on Tuesday.
Participants of the sit-in took the stance that brick kiln owners have increased the cost of their bricks but did not increase the wages of the workers. The workers demanded the issuance of Social Security Card. Kiln workers threatened that if their demands are not met in 24 hours then they will march to the CM House and protest in front of it.
