Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Lieutenant General (r) Nadeem said that the biggest challenge being faced was to rescue people from affected areas because no one was ready to leave his home. During a joint press conference with state minister for information Syed Samsam Bukhari, General (r) Nadeem said that We have appealed UN for help in four sectors. He said that railway lines, motorway and GT road were badly affected from flood. He added that nore than 3500 foreign tourists are present in Khaghan and Naran. Syed Samsam Bukhari on this occasion said that it was the biggest flood in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa since 1929. On the other hand, the Met office has forecast more rains for ten days. The rains may continue till the first week of September.
