Supreme Court disqualified a member of Balochistan Assembly Zahoor Hussain Khosa for having fake degree, Dunya News reported on Friday. The apex court directed the Election Commission to take action against Khosa. Zahoor was elected to Blaochistan Assembly from BP-Jaffrabad 6 as an independent candidate. The court ruled that Khosa committed fraud and thus ordered the EC to initiate criminal proceedings against him. The SC also scrapped the notification, saying that Khosa won the February polls. The court also ordered holding of by-polls in the said seat.
