Summary 'Influential people' from Dubai pressurized police for criminal’s release, say sources
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Dunya News President and Editor-in-Chief Kamran Khan on Friday has revealed that Sindh minister’s frontman, Bashir Brohi’s arrest has created waves in the provincial government as police authorities were pressurized by influential people residing in Dubai for his release.
Kamran Khan in his prestigious show, ‘Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Sath’ revealed that the criminal is wanted in several kidnapping cases. Brohi is a policeman and minister’s right hand. Thatha’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) has been sacked for not complying with the requests that poured in from Dubai and local leaders.
Sindh ministers that sought the criminal’s release include Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal and former local government minister Sharjeel Memon.
The show aired on Friday night further revealed that Pakistan Rangers has decided to take the culprit in custody which could result in key confessions.
