More than 100 suspects arrested, heavy weapons seized in Islamabad
The operation was launched in Islamabad two days ahead of Defence Day celebrations.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In a major action against miscreants in the federal capital, the police and Rangers personnel arrested more than hundred suspects during joint search operation in different localities in Bhara Kahu area of Islamabad on Friday.
The law enforcement personnel sealed Bhara Kahu area from eighteen points and searched houses, hotels and hostels.
According to police, the search operation was conducted on a tip-off from security agencies and 121 suspects were detained.
Four 9mm rifles, 19 pistols, 890 bullets and other weapons were recovered in the operation.
