Explosives case: ATC sentences accused to 14 years in jail

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Suspect Ali Raza has been sentenced to 14 years imprisonment by an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi for possessing explosives and illegal weapons.
Raza was accused of carrying explosives material, illegal weapons and involvement in armed clash with police.
In a separate ATC courtroom, Abbasi Shaheed Hospital’s Finance Director Fariduddin was presented.
Rangers law officer informed court that the suspect was arrested three months ago and on his information, a huge cache of arms was recovered from Khaji Ground graveyard within limits of Rizvia police station.
After hearing the remarks, the court handed the accused in Rangers custody on one-day remand.
