KARACHI/BAHAWALPUR (Dunya News) – Two death row convicts were hanged in various jails of the country on early Wednesday morning, Dunya News reported.
Death row prisoner Shahid Mehmood was executed in Central Jail Karachi. Shahid had killed a woman and her daughter during a robbery attempt in 1998.
Another death row convict, Tajammal was hanged in New Central Jail Bahawalpur. Tajammal had killed a child after molesting him. He was awarded death sentence by District and Sessions Judge, Muhammad Tariq in 2006.
