ATTOCK: (Dunya News) – 9 lost their lives while 5 were critically injured on Tuesday as a wagon carrying passengers from Matthial to Pindi Ghaip collided with an oil tanker on the Matthial-Pindi Ghaip Road. The injured are being shifted to hospitals, reported Dunya News.
According to details, the driver was trying to reach the passengers waiting on the Matthial Chowk when an oil-tanker coming at full speed from the opposite direction suddenly struck the wagon. The wagon fell into the trench, causing 8 to die on the spot while 1 more succumbed to injuries in the District Head-Quarters (DHQ) Hospital, Jund.
The critically injured are being shifted to various hospitals of Attock. Sources told Dunya News that the wagon was completely destroyed while the driver also died in the accident.
