ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday has refused to accept returning officers nominated by the provincial governments for upcoming local bodies election in Punjab and Sindh, Dunya News reported.

According to the details, only ECP would deploy the officers on duty during LB polls who will work honestly. ECP officials further stated that a stern action would be taken against the violators.

Rangers would be deployed at the polling stations in both provinces whereas a heavy contingent of Pakistan Army has also been called on for monitoring.
