Summary Not responsible for individual irregularities, he said
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Saturday announced he will challenge the Election Tribunal’s decision, that declared his election as lawmaker null and void, in Supreme Court, Dunya News reported.
Talking to the media in Lahore, ousted Speaker said tribunal’s verdict does not mention rigging. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that all parties should respect the verdict.
The Election Tribunal earlier declared the result of NA 122 constituency null and void, effectively making NA Speaker’s membership of the National Assembly and Speakership.
He said the verdict of the tribunal does not mention rigging, adding that he is not responsible for irregularities.
