GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – One death row convict has been sent to the gallows in Central Jail Gujranwala on early Wednesday morning, Dunya News reported. The execution was carried out under the supervision of Special Judicial Magistrate Malik Salim.
Death row prisoner Amjad Ali was executed for murdering his friend Khalil Ahmad on July 5, 1998. It is pertinent to mention here that none of his heirs came to received his dead body police shifted the dead body to mortuary.
