Summary The case should be shifted from Anti-Terrorism Court to Session Court, said the lawyer.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) approved of hearing petition for excluding terrorism clauses in Kasur scandal case on Monday, reported Dunya News.
Petitioner’s lawyer took the stance in court that police had been pressurized into including terrorism clauses in the Kasur scandal case by media and civil society. The case should be shifted from Anti-Terrorism Court to Session Court, said the lawyer.
Expressing fear for the lives of the accused, he said that it is feared that suspects may be killed in a police encounter. Approving the application for excluding the clauses, Justice Anwar ul Haq has given recommendation to form 2-man bench.
