KARACHI (Dunya News) – Anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi has submitted A class report in the court after releasing detained suspect Sami-ur-Rehman in Professor Waheed-ur-Rehman murder case, Dunya News reported on Monday.
According to report, investigation officer stated that no factual evidence has been obtained against Sami-ur-Rehman due to which the accused has been granted bail. He said that the court would recommence the hearing after arresting absconders.
Earlier, an assistant professor of the University of Karachi was shot dead in Federal B. area on April 29.
Dr. Syed Waheed-ur-Rahman was killed when unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire on his car. The suspects managed to flee the scene soon after the attack.
