LAHORE: (Web Desk, Dunya News) – Pakistani cricketer Anwar Ali is yet another young Pakistani who has been added among the #DunyaHeroes who does not only have brilliant batting and bowling records but is also a wonderful fielder.
In a very short span of time, Anwar Ali has become an integral part of the team. In his recent brilliance against Sri Lanka in Twenty20 International (T20I) where Pakistan won the chased the mammoth total of 173 runs after going down 5 for just 40 runs, Anwar Ali was simply magnificent with the bat. Hitting 3 boundaries and 4 sixes, Anwar Ali routed Sri Lankan attack and pulled the game out of their clutches just in the last moments of the game. Though Anwar Ali got out after scoring 46 runs off just 17 balls, the damage had already been done and Imad Waseem, another young talent from the country, finished the game off in style by hitting the ball out of the park for yet another time.
Pakistan team is going through rebuilding phase right now and with inclusion of such extraordinary talent in the team, the prospects of the team seem quite bright in the days and years to come.
