Summary Balochistan Assembly adopted the resolution against provocative speeches by Altaf with majority

QUETTA: (Dunya News) – Balochistan Assembly has on Monday adopted resolution against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain’s provocative speeches with majority, reported Dunya News.

A resolution was presented in the Balochistan Assembly against MQM chief. The resolution condemned the ‘self-exiled’ MQM chief’s spouts against Pakistan and its defense institutions. It stated that Altaf Hussain spoke the language of Pakistan’s enemies and made highly offensive, provocative and objectionable speeches against the national institutions which is equivalent to an attack on Pakistan’s sovereignty. It said that these speeches have helped the enemies of the country and are nothing short of treason.

The text of the resolution says that the people of Pakistan have repeatedly expressed their anger at these speeches and calls for suppression of such elements keeping the public sentiment in view.

The resolution demanded bringing back Altaf Hussain to Pakistan and take action against him under Article 6 of the constitution of Pakistan.

Members of the provincial assembly said after the presenting of the resolution that Altaf Hussain has been targeting the country and its institutions and said that his actions and speeches were condemnable. They said that the national security agencies are playing their role for Pakistan’s security and to keep Karachi’s peace due to which Altaf Hussain has panicked. They said that a lot of blood has been spilled in Karachi in the past but the law and order situation has improved considerably after Rangers’ operation.

Resolution against Altaf Hussain’s speeches was passed with majority vote.
