Summary Victims are being forced to 'make truce' with suspects, said Imran Khan
HARIPUR (Dunya News) – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan said on Monday that police has surrounded the village of Kasur while victims are being forced to ‘make truce’ with suspects, reported Dunya News.
Addressing a political rally in Haripur, Imran Khan said that after filming objectionable videos with children against their will, money was demanded from the parents.
He lamented that there is no one to listen to the pleads of the poor adding that parents must have gone through a lot of distress due to the incidents.
Imran Khan said that media is truly independent of all pressures as it had raised the issue adding that he will not let Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) government bury the matter. He said that PTI will raise the matter in the parliament.
He alleged that Punjab Police had surrounded Kasur till date while that victims are being forced to ‘make truce’ with suspects.
Chairman PTI said that he is truly ashamed of the Kasur incident. He said that Law Minister Punjab Rana Sanaullah had wrongly claimed that the matter was due to land ownership.
