KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Saturday extended Rangers’ special power to raid premises for four months, Dunya News reported.
A notification in this case has been issued. Sindh Rangers’ authority to raid is for the city of Karachi only.
According to details, the Sindh government has given an extension of 120 days in Rangers’ special powers to raid. As per the extended power, Rangers can only make raids in the city of Karachi.
CM Sindh said while approving the extension that he hopes the Rangers will continue to operation in the same spirit.
Last month, the special powers of the Rangers were extended for a month and were due to expire on August 8.
