Summary Rangers have also mentioned the names of wanted suspects and demanded their early custody.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Rangers officials on Wednesday penned a letter to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar asking to hand over as many as 187 target killers allegedly associated with the party and involved in the murder of police personnel who took part in the 1990’s Karachi operation.
Rangers have also disclosed the names of wanted suspects and demanded their custody as early as possible. According to the letter, Abu Irfan alias Irfi has killed three policemen including two Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), Adil Ansari and Channa Malvi murdered three security officers while Naeem alias Malla and Nauman alias Nomi have also gunned down four, four police personnel respectively during 1990s Karachi operation.
“Please hand over the nominated suspects to the Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, in order to [facilitate the] investigation of murder of police officials,” Rangers requested in letter.

Copies of the letter have also been sent to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, the inspector general of police and the home secretary.
