Chairman HEC calls on PM

Chairman Higher Education Commission Javed Laghair called on Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Monday. Source said that the HEC Chairman apprise the PM of the development regarding the evaluation of parliamentarians degrees. Earlier, Javed wrote a letter to the PM pleading for a meeting, which was accepted by the latter. It merits to mention that the brother of HEC Chairman and former DCO Farooq Leghari had been held in corruption charges, while the CM Sindh Zulfiqar Mirza also pressurized Javed Leghari to tender resignation.
