LAHORE/RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Five more death row convicts were sent to the gallows in different jails of Punjab on early Friday morning, Dunya News reported.
Three death row prisoners were hanged in Kot Lakhpat Jail. Prisoners Nadeem Shahzad and Samar Jan were executed for killing a kid after abduction in Garahi Shahu area while death row convict Riaz Yousuf was hanged for killing two people in the jurisdiction of Shalimar Police Station.
Two death row prisoners were executed in Adiala Jail Rawalpindi. Prisoner Muhammad Ashraf had killed a man in the jurisdiction of Wah Cantt Police Station while prisoner Zafar had killed a man in 2000 in the jurisdiction of Mandra Police Station.
