KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday approved a 10-day protective bail of Mutahhida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Abdul Rauf Siddiqui in as many as six cases, Dunya News reported.

As per details, Justice Mohammad Ali heard the case of MQM leader Abdul Rauf Siddiqui. After hearing the arguments of lawyers, judge granted protective bail to the accused in six cases on two surety bonds of 20 thousand each.

The authority has also directed the security personnel not to arrest Abdul Rauf Siddiqui for 10 days.

Separately, a court has given Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Qamar Mansoor in Rangers custody for at least 90 days. Mansoor was brought to the court amid tight security for case hearing.

The court granted Rangers 90-day remand of Mansoor. However, the MQM member said that he is suffering from back-pain for past as many as 16 years and needs treatment.

However, the court upheld the decision despite Mansoor’s alleged medical condition.
