LONDON (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif on Monday ordered an inquiry into breaching of embankment in Layyah caused by erosion in Indus River, saying that those acting with negligence in repairing embankments of rivers and canals will not be spared, Dunya News reported.
Addressing Civil Secretariat and meetings in various divisions via video link from London, Shehbaz Sharif directed to take proactive measures after taking information from the metrological department.
