Water level continues to rise in Nullah Lai after heavy rain in Rawalpindi
There is low-level flooding in several rivers across the country.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Water level is once again increasing in Nullah Lai as Rawalpindi received rain during last three days.
According to district administration, water level in Nullah Lai at Gawalmandi and Katarian has reaches 10ft height whereas Civil Defence, Rescue 1122, Wasa and other departments have been directed to remain alert.
On the other hand, water flow is increasing at Head Panjnad in Muzaffargarh where water inflow is 104,932 cusecs and outflow is 90,132 cusecs.
Meanwhile, water level has further increased in Indus River at Head Taunsa.
DG Disaster Management Authority stated that water flow in Indus River at Tarbel is 308,000 cusecs where there is low-level flooding at Kalabagh with water flow recorded at 301,000 cusecs.
Authorities reported that Jhelum, Chenab, Sutlej and Ravi rivers are flowing normal.
