KARACHI (Dunya News) – An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi has sent detained Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) worker Umair Siddiqui on 11-day physical remand, Dunya News reported.

Sources report that the suspect was presented before the court amid tight security.

Umair Siddiqui is charged with murdering a man named Hussain within the jurisdiction of Town police station.

During the hearing, investigating officer requested the court to grant further remand of the suspect for interrogation.

The court accepted the requested and remanded Umair Siddiqui in police custody for 11 days.
