Sukkur: Blast occurred near Baig Manji station

In the area of Baig Manji station, Sukkur, the railway track was blown and almost 2 foot portion of the railway track is destroyed.The blast on railway track occurred at 4:35 am due to which and up and down traffic of trains got suspended. The bomb disposal squad reached the site after the blast and declared up-line track to be clear after which the trains coming from Sindh to Punjab continued their journey. SP Railway Muzzafar Chaudhry said that local explosive material weighing 10 lbs was used in the blast. The officials of Pakistan Railway immediately reached the site and started working on clearing up the track.
