Three killed, 3 injured in firing outside passport office in Quetta
Unknown gunmen opened indiscriminate fire outside a passport office on Joint Road.
QUETTA (Web Desk) – At least three persons including a policeman were killed and three persons were injured in a shooting incident in Quetta on Monday morning, Dunya News reported.
According to police, some unknown gunmen opened indiscriminate fire outside a passport office on Joint Road. A policeman, two brothers Shabir Hussain ana Ahsan were killed on the spot whereas three others including a woman sustained injuries.
The injured were initially shifted to Civil Hospital and then moved to the CMH for treatment.
Police and Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel have cordoned off the crime scene and launched investigation into the incident.
Earlier, an explosion outside Baldia shopping center near Bacha Khan Chowk in Quetta killed one person and injured 19 others.
Reportedly, people were busy shopping for Eid at the center when the explosion took place.
The security personnel said that explosives were placed in a bag.
