KARACHI (Dunya News) – Residents of Karachi have continued facing severe power outage due to technical faults, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.
Most of the areas have plunged into darkness for four to five hours due to tripping.
Different areas of Jahangirabad, Mahmoodabad, Defence, Kasba Colony, Manghopir, North Karachi, Maripur, Quaidabad, Malir Khokarapar, Landhi and Korangi were among those hit by the non-availability of electricity.
Besides this, power cut also led to shortage of water.
According to K-Electric spokesman, work to restore power in the affected areas is in process.
