PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Doctors and paramedical staff of Lady Reading hospital in Peshawar went on a strike today (Friday) against torture by relatives of deceased patient, Dunya News reported.
According to details, a taxi driver belonging to Nowshehra was brought in the hospital in injured condition a day before where later he passed away.
The relatives blamed the death on the alleged negligence of the doctors and created strife in the emergency ward.
On the other hand, doctors accused the patient’s relatives’ for torture and called for a strike whereas they also staged a protest in the premises of the hospital.
The protesters’ demanded the government to take steps for their protection.
