Summary Investigations would continue till the saga reaches its logical conclusion, said Chaudhary Nisar
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhar Nisar said on Thursday that British Broadcasting Corporation’s (BBC) reputation is well known to everybody. He said that the revelations by the BBC report will be investigated, reported Duna News.
Talking to media during a press conference in the capital, Chaudhary Nisar said that BBC report had made highly sensitive and significant claims.
Reiterating need for investigation on BBC report, Interior Minister said that investigations would continue till the saga reaches its logical conclusion.
Chaudhary Nisar said that he had met with British High Commissioner Philip Barton where he had discussed BBC’s report on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
He said that the report is more significant than Imran Farooq murder case.
Interior Minister said that Pakistan’s intelligence agencies had provided British authorities with information regarding Imran Farooq murder case adding that now government of Pakistan would request British authorities to furnish details regarding facts behind BBC’s report.
Chaudhary Nisar appealed to media not to label all MQM workers according BBC report. He further added that the report is reserved for specific people.
